It's past bedtime for me already but I can't sleep.  I took a long nap this afternoon with Rachel.  I got tired from cleaning the house and running some errands.  But anyway, the weather was nice and warm today.  My hubby and Rachel took a walk and visited my in-laws this afternoon.  They had fun with Rachel and their so happy to see her.  Opps, I hear crying, got to go now.

 

We are going to my sister-in-law's house for dinner tonight and to celebrate her 50th birthday. Last night we were invited to a fight party to watch Manny Pacquiao fight Ricky Hatton in a championship fight held in Las Vegas.  Even though Manny  was favored to win, I was nervous because I read on the internet that Hatton was a pretty good fighter.  After arriving at my friends' house, we had a great dinner.  We had pizza, chicken, sweet and sour pork, rice and noodles.  It all tasted great and I was so full after dinner.  The fight started soon after and it seemed like it was over soon after it started.  That's because Manny knocked out Hatton at the end of the second
round.  We all screamed so loud with excitement that we really scared Rachel and she started crying. Other than that had a perfect night watching the fight with our friends.  It was so amazing how awesome Manny fought due to the great gameplan his trainer had given him.  It's great to see Manny finally getting the credit he deserves.   Now, most if not all the boxing experts agree that he is the "best pound-for-pound fighter" in the world right now.   It will be interesting to see who fights him next because he looks so unbeatable.  My hubby is up set because his sister was in Vegas last nite and offered to put a bet on Manny for my hubby.  He decided not to and of course now he wishes he did. 

We need to find another pair of shoes for Rachel.  It's amazing how much kids shoes cost for a nice pair.  It's hard to imagine spending $20-$40 every couple of months for her shoes.  I wish they could make shoes that you could adjust as your kid's feet gets bigger.  Anyway, I hope we can find a nice pair on sale.  I have seen some cheaper shoes, but they don't look like they are very good quality and may not be good for her feet.
